Self Portrait – Haunted Room, Horton Grand Hotel

On the night of a year since we first met, my Wife and I stayed in the haunted room of the Horton Grand Hotel in downtown San Diego. The story is a cowboy gambler who was hard on his luck was caught cheating at a saloon down the street and chased back to his hotel room where he was shot while hiding in the armoire. It is said that he still fancies cards and especially stacks of coins which he has been reported to do with your pocket coins if you leave them on the table. We heard many bumps in the night, but they appeared to be coming from the room straight above us. Someone paced all night and in to the morning hours.
