Kapa’a-Stream-at-Ho’opi’i-falls,-Kauai

This little gem of a place is located down some back roads through a neighborhood. It’s important to tread with respect in these areas since technically it’s private property. There weren’t many people around, but THOUSANDS of mosquitoes. This was shot with a B+W 10-Stop Neutral Density filter to render the water in the stream foggy. The actual waterfall was a couple steps behind me, but wasn’t flowing too well on this day and the best view is from the other side of the stream anyway with meant for a more treacherous hike we weren’t willing to do for such a small waterfall.
